Meet The Team
Mik (partner)
Mik has worked in the motorcycle
training industry since 1990 and has
held a number of different positions
in both management and instructor
training. After a spell as a D.S.A
examiner he returned to hands on student
training and frustrated at not being
able to provide the service that he
believed customers deserved, set up
Advantage Wimbledon with his business
partner, Tracey Blezard.
Tracey (partner)
By her own admission, Tracey was
not a natural on 2-wheels when she
embarked on her motorcycle training
12 years ago but feels if she can
do it, anyone can! Now riding a VZ800,
she runs the office, makes endless
cups of tea and when away from work
devotes time to her writing career.
Heidi
After 4 years as a cycle courier
and a further 8 years as a motorcycle
courier Heidi passed her instructor
exams and became Chief Instructor
for Girls Angels. During this time
she also turned her hand to writing
and has a regular column in the Riders
Digest and Drive Magazine. Heidi has
been working with advantage since
October 2004.
Matt Disney
Ex chef Matt Disney has been riding
since he was a teenager and is currently
a
serving Met Police Officer. Matt has
taken what is considered to be the
hardest riding exam in the world,
and can be seen regularly riding his
police bike in South London. Matt
is also a member of the I.A.M and
gives all his time free to Advantage.
Diane Goodwin
Diane's motorcycle career started
less glamorously as a pizza delivery
rider. After joining us in early 2004,
Diane has recently passed her Instructor
exams and has become very popular
with students always asking for her
personally. Diane is also a fully
qualified and skilled painter and
decorator.
Serina Henderson
Serina came to Advantage for a brush
up lesson and Ed was so impressed
with her riding he offered her a job!
Martin Catlin
An Advantage instructor since early
2004, Martin started riding motocross
bikes at 14 and became a courier as
soon as he held a full licence.
Jonathan
An ex commando, Jonathan joined Advantage
in 2004 and brings with him the many
years experience of being a D.S.A
licensed car instructor
Katie
Katie was one of Advantage's first
customers! A pizza delivery rider
with a real ambition for a career
in bikes. Currently studying mechanical
engineering, she has her eyes set
on a future in motorcycle design.
Katie keeps the fleet in tip top condition.
