THE ADVANTAGE INSPECTION SERVICE
|
|
Here at Advantage, we're trying to offer our customers a service that goes beyond simply getting
a bike licence!
Thinking of buying yourself a second hand bike?
STOP!
Before you part with your lolly, consider getting the opinion of a qualified technician. In
conjunction with 911 Motorcycles, we'll arrange for someone to accompany you to the point of sale, go over the bike and make sure what you think you're buying is what you're actually getting! Prices start from as little as £40 for consultations in the local area. Call 020 8687 2233 for more details or to make an appointment.
One customer paid £45 and ended up saving herself more than £400 on a CBR 600, thanks to
the guys at 911!
Already bought yourself a second hand bike?
If you're an Advantage training customer, then we'll arrange for a FREE inspection of your new
purchase. Just bring it down to us and your bike will receive a thorough inspection by a qualified technician, who will give you an itemised record of any work that needs doing.
Appointments need to be made to avoid disappointment.
Ring 020 8687 2233 to book yourself in!

Old car speakers or magnets make a useful way of holding loose nuts and
bolts in one place! |
|
Before you start taking anything apart, place a light coloured sheet on the
ground. It'll make finding those last few bits so much easier! |
|
Avoid jet washing your bike, which can lead to rust in hard to get to places
and removes grease from bearings. |
|
Try coating your bike in a light spray of oil (but avoiding the brakes!) and
wiping off with a soft rag. The result is a well shiny machine with a protective coating that will deter rust! |
|
Fit a scotoiler to your bike and treble the life of your chain and
sprockets. (Just remember to periodically check the oil level!) |
|
Prevention is better than cure! Regular servicing and oil and filter
changes are essential to prolonging the life of your engine. The old saying 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' does not apply here! By then it's all too late!! |
